Featured Job Director @ Gap, Inc. Gap, Inc. is seeking a Director of Leadership and Coaching in San Francisco, CA. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Coaching We aspire for our leaders to be great developers of talent, utilizing a coach-like approach. The Director will function as an internal coach to our senior leader population around individual development and high-performance. This role will also own and drive the development of our internal coaching practice while managing and elevating our bench of external coaches and our Coaching Community of Practice. An important aspect of this work will be to lead the building of our internal coaching capability training program as well as an intact team-focused coaching experience like âLeader as Coachâ. Leadership Development At Gap Inc. we are constantly striving to evolve our thinking around leadership and development. This role will design and execute enterprise-wide leadership and social learning opportunities that tap into both the unique nature of Gap Inc. but also leverage current best practices around bite-sized, non-programmatic development. Creating leadership âlaboratoriesâ of various topics where our leaders teach each other and benefit from purpose driven conversations will also be an important aspect of this role. Leadership Onboarding and Transitions The Director will be responsible for creating, maintaining and supporting the design and deployment of an enterprise-wide leadership onboarding and transition plan. They will partner across all brands and functions to thoroughly understand the Gap Inc. business strategy and how to most effectively onboard and transition our leaders. Assessment This service is geared toward the delivery and development of our enterprise-wide talent assessment strategy. The Director will build strategic partnerships across the HR community and business leaders to best leverage our talent data. They will partner heavily with the Talent Planning team on hi-potential identification and development strategies.
